Iru restaurant has been a benchmark restaurant in Pollensa since it was founded in 1944 by the Escandell family. Situated on the seafront on the Paseo de Anglada Camarasa, iru offers its visitors a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, accompanied by spectacular views of the Mediterranean.

In 2001, the iru restaurant was completely renovated, adopting a fresh and minimalist style that further enhances the beauty of its surroundings. The renovation was designed to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere, where visitors can enjoy restaurants in Puerto Pollensa with sea views.

The Escandell family’s commitment to excellence and customer service is reflected in the reputation the restaurant has built over the years. English Execution of a photovoltaic installation project on the roof of our facilities, with an investment value of €8,756.43, with the aim of reducing energy consumption and CO₂ emissions. A total of 5.4 kWp of solar panels have been installed, achieving a 70% reduction in energy consumption from the grid. This project has been financed with the support of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan, funded by the European Union, specifically through the Investment Plan for the Energy Transition of the Balearic Islands (PITEIB). A grant of €1,350.00 was awarded.
